First of all, if you are reading this article you probably already know everything about gluten and gluten- sensitivity.

  •  SAVES MONEY: supplements are generally cheaper if you compare cost per 1000 kcal. I have yet to met a person who would mind saving some extra ca$h by the end of the month.
  • SAVES TIME: Cooking and consuming your own food is a beautiful thing. But it is also time consuming. Specially, for hardgainers. Since we want to be in caloric surplus, we need to eat a lot. I believe using mass gainer saves me about 30 minutes every day. Instead of preparing food and doing dishes I can now use this time to lift more weights.
  • YOU AVOID HARMFUL CHEMICALS: We have all seen the movie Food, Inc. We know what massive food companies do in order to lower the price and increase production. Using steroids, pesticides, herbicides and different chemicals you do not want to know about. Researched supplementation can be a way to avoid or at least reduce harmful chemicals.
  • EATING LESS JUNK: Many times I have been guilty of stressing to get my daily calories in. Choice in between cooking a meal or spending 3$ on 520 Kcal, 32g protein Triple Cheeseburger at McDonalds is unfortunately often the latter. Having a mass gainer supplement eliminates the the need to rip open a bag of Doritos on a Tuesday night.
  • EASIER ON YOUR STOMACH: “I just can’t eat more” is a common comment when it comes to eating enough calories. Your stomach is not used to the load that you are suddenly consuming. 1.SUPPLEMENT INDUSTRY IS POORLY REGULATED 

Supplements are not regulated by FDA (Food and Drug Administration). Supplement companies themselves are responsible of guaranteeing safety of their products. Since they are the one making money, it is no surprise that some of the companies neglect ethic in order to profit.
